I was born in Singapore, which is situated in the centre of the Southeast Asia region, where our first language is English (which surprises a lot of people). My Bachelor of Engineer degree (B. Eng Hons) was obtained from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 2003. I continued to directly pursue a research degree (Ph.D.) in Gaussian Process with both University of Strathclyde and Hamilton Institute (National University of Ireland, Maynooth).
Over the course of a 4-year period, my Ph.D. research was supported by various European Union funding sources. More details can be found in the Research page.
In 2008, I took a huge transition to switch my career development in Business, starting with SAP, a German multinational company. I have played pivotal roles in the past 6 years in the transformation of Demand Generation across Asia Pacific Japan region, including but not limited to, Inside Marketing business transformation, Pull & Inbound Marketing, CRM operations and Project management.
