Keith Neo Kian Seng, PhD
Research Scientist / Reporting Specialist / Operations Executive
Gaussian Process Models and Machine Learning
My research domain is within, but not limited to, the area of interest of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE). The topic of my research involves the use of Gaussian process within a Bayesian framework for System Identification, particularly to identify nonlinear dynamic systems. In other fields of the research, the Gaussian Process prior model is also known to be part of Machine Learning.
I am also currently contracted to work for SAP to conduct various analytical, operational and management works as a Reporting Specialist / Operations Executive.
Area of Interests and Research Topics
I have great interest in some of these research topics:
Multiple stochastic Gaussian processes
Compound state-space time-series regression using Gaussian process models
Fast algorithms implementation for large-scale Gaussian regressions
Identification of nonlinear dynamic systems
Analysis of wind turbine aerodynamics and electro-mechanical dynamics to aid and improve design of controller
Data mining, statistical analysis and specialised reporting
Effective data cleansing algorithm using Bayesian technique
